Nothing captivates me more than a simple and well finished design that works well. But it was only after a decade of working with buying agencies and luxury retail for global brands, I discovered my other passion, manufacturing such design. When I looked closer to home, I realized that centuries of rich craftsmanship in India left us with an enduring legacy. I looked everywhere for unique, quality-driven, designer furniture manufactured within India. While individual designers had limited supply and scalability, the big-box stores served up generic style. It was a search that left me questioning. Unwilling to settle, I have decided to put all my experience to use. This discovery opened doors to several more as I began studying the market. I made it my mission in 2018 to build a lifestyle brand that is Made in India which caters to creative urban millennials across the globe. Right from the get-go, the process captured my heart, as it drew upon my twin aspirations of design and entrepreneurship and motivated me to create a brand that inspires. Today, Sage Living bridges the gap between global design styles and Indian craftsmanship by relentlessly focusing on high-quality, high-precision pieces. Welcome to Sage Living.

Drawing upon extensive backgrounds in Product Design, Architecture and Industrial Engineering, Sage Design Team keeps current on design trends from around the world in order to translate their findings into products with lasting appeal. After sourcing according to material subsets, craftsmanship and desired price point, all our prototypes are tested for fit, form and function. Obsessed with detail, we make products with character.

Mac brings nearly 25 years of Sourcing and Quality Control experience in the Furniture and Home Décor industry to Sage Living. Since its inception, he has played a crucial role in expanding our supply chain and manufacturing network. He heads a team of quality professionals and on-the-ground experts who are engaged from the very beginning of our design process, material selections, and product development with quality and safety in mind. Committed to delivering high-quality and precision pieces he and his team engage with our factories to establish clear product reviews, implement routine inspections, and setting protocols. He is a firm believer that Quality is the best business plan.
